Apparently we’re getting pretty good at predicting things Konami will announce via their Jump Festa 2021 livestreams, as they have just announced that they are in development on a new Yu-Gi-Oh! video game for the Nintendo Switch based on the “Rush Duels” of the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG.

Konami shared the vague announcement via Live Stream

Like yesterday’s news of a new Master Duel game, what we don’t know is a concrete release date, the name of the game or even see a single screenshot of gameplay. The game is likely to be Japan exclusive for the time being, since the Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duels product line hasn’t been introduced outside of Japan and Korea just yet, so we might be waiting a good while for this game to show up for us in the United States and Europe. We’ll just have to wait for more information, likely coming in 2021. However, of the two games announced this week, this one feels a lot closer to release.
